Animalier, the designer's word for it, has never really left. Leopard, tiger stripe and ocelot work the way a good neutral works: they sit beside almost anything and make the room look collected rather than decorated.

These are trade-level cuts from premier textile houses, available outside the traditional showroom system. Small yardages suit pillows, dining chair seats and stool tops. Larger cuts carry a headboard or a pair of drapery panels.

Quantities are limited to what came off the bolt.
